Space isn’t always available when you need it. In storage facilities, places of worship, schools, a retrofitted space, or just rooms filled with product, direct placement of an industrial-sized dehumidifier isn’t always practical — and in occupied spaces, dehumidifier noise can be a concern. The Large Dehumidifier Exhaust Duct Kit solves both problems by allowing you to route the air from your Quest or Anden dehumidifier from a location that works better for your space—away in a mechanical room, hallway, or ceiling space, out of the way and out of earshot. Built for easy installation and a secure fit, the Large Dehumidifier Exhaust Duct Adapter Kit delivers reliable and long-term durability in demanding applications.

This kit includes a duct adapter that connects directly to the exhaust side of the unit. A separate intake duct adapter is required for correct setup of a ducted installation and is sold separately.

Note: Both intake and exhaust ducts should draw from and return to the same conditioned space. This is the step many installations get wrong. The air leaving the exhaust isn’t waste air — it’s dry air that needs to be remixed into the room you are dehumidifying. Ducting that exhaust outside the conditioned space, or into a different room than the intake pulled from, removes the very air the dehumidifier just dried. Both the intake and exhaust should draw from and return to the same conditioned space for the dehumidifier to effectively lower relative humidity where needed.
